Question 1

What is the best age for newborn photos?

Accepted Answer

The ideal time for newborn photography is 5 to 14 days after birth. During this window babies sleep deeply and curl naturally into gentle poses. Dia Photo Studio in Surrey BC recommends booking during your second trimester to secure your spot.

Question 2

How far in advance should I book a newborn photographer in Surrey?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking your newborn photographer in Surrey BC during your second trimester, around 20 to 28 weeks pregnant. Our schedule fills quickly, especially for weekend dates. Once your baby is born, we confirm your session within the 5 to 14 day window.

Question 3

What is included in a newborn photography session at Dia Photo Studio?

Accepted Answer

All wraps, props, hats, headbands, and outfits are provided at no extra charge. Sessions run 2.5 to 3 hours and include solo baby poses, family portraits, and sibling images. Edited photos are delivered within 3 to 4 weeks via a private online gallery.

Question 4

When is the best time for maternity photos?

Accepted Answer

The ideal window for maternity photography is 28 to 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage the bump is beautifully round and most moms are still comfortable. Dia Photo Studio in Surrey BC offers both studio and outdoor maternity sessions with complimentary designer maternity gowns.

Question 5

What age is best for a cake smash photoshoot?

Accepted Answer

Most parents schedule a cake smash session when their baby is 10.5 to 11.5 months old so the edited gallery is ready in time for their first birthday party invitations and celebration.
